About
An operator-curated directory, not a link farm
CreatorGear.ai exists to answer one question for digital sellers: which AI tools are actually worth your money - and which ones just have good marketing.
Why this exists
There are hundreds of AI tools aimed at people who sell on Etsy, Gumroad, Shopify, and KDP - and most directories listing them are just affiliate dumps sorted by who pays the most. That is not useful when you are trying to decide where your monthly subscription budget actually goes.
CreatorGear is the opposite of that. Every listing carries an opinionated verdict, honest pros and cons, and a clear note on who the tool is - and is not - for. The goal is that you can read one listing and know whether to keep looking.
How tools get reviewed
Listings are written by someone who runs digital storefronts on these platforms - not by a content team paraphrasing a tool's own marketing page. Each of the 21 tools in the directory is sorted into one of 8 focused categories and assessed on the same things:
- Does it solve a real problem for a digital seller?
- Is the pricing honest about what you get on the free tier?
- What does it do badly - stated plainly, not buried?
- Would we reach for it ourselves this week?
When a tool is best-in-class, it gets listed whether or not it has an affiliate program. Leaving out the obvious winners just because they do not pay would make the whole directory worthless.
How the directory makes money
Some outbound links are affiliate links - if you sign up for a tool through one, CreatorGear may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That funds the time spent testing and writing.
The rule that makes this honest: an affiliate relationship never changes a verdict, a ranking, or a pro/con. Plenty of listed tools pay nothing at all. If a tool is mediocre, the listing says so - commission or not.
